The Slovak capital earns the 10th spot on our list of favourite European locations. Bratislava is a wonderfully affordable location, even more so with your ISIC.
With Austria and Vienna less than an hour away it is an ideal spot to begin an Eurotrip.

Make sure to use your 50% discount when visiting the stunning Bratislava Castle.
Tip: Visit the Soviet war memorial, Slavin, to take in fantastic panoramic views of Bratislava.

9. Madrid

With sun, siesta and cerveza’s what is not to like about life in Madrid? ¬°Nada!
Prepare to sleep late, and party late in a city that comes alive as the sun sets.

Show your ISIC in the Prado and Reina Sofia to get special discounted rates.
If art isn’t your thing, Madrid City Tour open-top buses offer 10% off specially to ISIC holders.

Tip: The Royal Palace is free for two hours per day from Monday to Friday (4PM – 6PM during offseason,
and 6PM – 8PM during the summer months).
Great, as long as you don’t mind longer than normal queues.

8. Vienna

Soaked in history and dominated by spectacular architecture, it is easy to see why people are drawn to the Austrian capital.
While not as cheap as its neighbor, Bratislava, with your student card the differences are not as extreme.
One of our favourite discounts is 30% off Madame Tussauds Wien with your card.

Tip: Each winter Vienna transforms the plaza and park in front of City Hall, Rathausplatz, into a ice-skating wonderland.
Instead of merely skating in counter-clockwise circles, the paths of the park are turned into ice-paths that sweep
throughout the park. Highly recommended.

7. Berlin

The charm of Berlin is very much the distinctive neighborhoods developed in part due to its turbulent history.
Now known as much for its lively nightlife, Berlin remains one of the most popular student destinations.

Some of the best ways to save in Berlin include 25% off Berlin guided walking tours.
Of course, if you would prefer to travel by bicycle we have a 20% discount on rental bikes with Fahrradstation.

6. Budapest

Once two cities, Buda and Pest, this Hungarian hotspot is known for its thermal baths, art nouveau architecture and energetic night life.
Prices, like many Eastern European destinations, are low – therefore Budapest is a perfect location for the student budget.

Home of many student discounts – one of Budapest’s most noticeable locations, the Mattias Church offers 33% off the entrance fee to ISIC holders.

5. Florence

Rome’s northerly neighbor, Florence, has long been admired as one of Europe’s most beautiful, and the hype is not unfounded.
The birthplace of the Italian Renaissance is also a hub of student discounts.
Put your creative thinking to the test in Adventure Rooms Firenze where showing your ISIC will save you 20%. Afterwards treat yourself in Hard Rock Cafe where card holders also get 20% off on food and non-alcoholic beverages.

Tip: Make sure to catch sunset at Piazzale Michelangelo for incredible views of both the city and the Arno river.

4. Paris

Synonymous with style and fashion, Paris should not be feared by a budget conscious student.
The observation deck on Tour Montparnasse offers expansive views of the Eiffel Tower and the Paris skyline is¬†‚ā¨6 off for ISIC holders.
Not only that, but the Aqiarium de Paris is 37% off, and Aquaboulevard Park Paris has a massive 48% discount for students.

“Disneyland, but real”.

Prague has everything – medieval beauty unspoiled by multiple World Wars like many other central European cities, arguably the world best beer, hip neighborhoods dotting the suburbs around the Old Town, an array of bars and restaurants, and most importantly – affordable prices.
Notable student discounts include 50% off into Prague museum, 2-for-1 on sandwiches in Subway & 25% off Segway rentals.

Tip: Charles Bridge can get overly crowded throughout the day. If Prague has one fault it is how popular of a tourist destination it is.
Set your alarm clock for sunrise, and enjoy the spender of Prague’s streets and bridges without the hordes of budding tourists fighting for the perfect photo opportunity.

2. London

Truly a global city, London has something for everyone. Be that tourist pictures with the Guards at Buckingham Palace, some of the best museums in the world (most of which are free), or even a cereal-only restaurant.
As it happens, London has one of the most comprehensive set of ISIC discounts. Our favourites include 33% off Big Bus Tours, £5 off entrance to the Shard, 30% off Madame Tussauds, 25% off The London Dungeons & 25% off Gatwick Express.

Amsterdam, one of the world’s finest cities and undoubtedly one of the most student friendly, takes our top spot for best cities to visit with your ISIC.
A relatively small city known for its beauty and pragmatic culture, Amsterdam is one of the more walk-able major world cities.
Much like Venice, if you don’t get lost wandering by the numerous canals you are not doing it right.
In between enjoying the world famous coffee shops and nightlife be sure to use your student card at the Verzetsmuseum, Stedelijk Museum and Fotografiemuseum to get up to 50% off on each.
